This option cannot be changed. The proportions of the diamonds on the side are set to the size of the center diamond, with only small variance being possible. This options adjusts automatically after user is done with first size selection.
Our diamond ring customizer not only allows you to combine different parts together, but you may also choose the individual color you want for your setting. You are able to individually choose the ring color in yellow or white, and the setting color also in both yellow and white. We will be adding rose gold to our selection of colors in the future.
To choose your preferred appearance of your custom ring, either click the item you want from the "Setting Style" dropdown or use the top row of arrows (left and right) to go through each one by one. The left arrow loads the previous model, and the right arrow shows the next model. This allows you to individually combine your preferred diamond style with your preferred ring design.
To customize the ring setting style, either choose the item you want from the "Ring Style" dropdown or use the bottom row of arrows (left and right) to go through each one by one. The left arrow shows the previous model, and the right arrow shows the next model. This option lets you individually customize your preferred ring style combination with your preferred diamond setting style.
After you click anything in the diamond selection menu a list will appear showing the results in our database most similar to the filters you have selected. We currently allow for users to select a diamond weighing from 0,30 carats to 1 carat. In some cases (such as the styles with three stones) the user will only be able to select a custom central diamond size, as the diamonds on the side have fixed proportions that are dependent on the central diamond.
To filter one quality (for ex. "Clarity VS2") click that one exclusively. To filter from a range of qualities (for ex. VS2-VVS1) first select the quality on the left, and then select the quality on the right. A new range will then be applied. To learn more about diamond grading and quality, click the "?" icon next to the row, and it will explain the basic information. This project concept was started a long time ago and took a long time to finish. When looking for a ring customizer that allows large freedom to its users, we have found that all of the so called "Ring Builders" merely allow for a client to select his ring model and then pick which diamond is mounted on it. We felt we can do better. Our goal was to give the user the highest possible freedom in manipulating the look of his ring, without the ridiculous prices associated with custom printing in 3D or having it made manually from scratch. We decided to create two lines of molds for ring pieces: line one consisting of "solitaire diamond settings" that matches with all the models in the same line for ring shapes. We also created a second line consisting of a central stone and stones on the side, with all "three diamond settings" models matching all "ring settings". We tried our best to pick a creative variety of both classic and modern models and are currently working on new combinations.
We have found a formula on how to do it efficiently relatively soon, but considering our dislike for the trend of increasing numbers of companies posting 3D pictures of their jewels (which we believe to be a false, incorrect representation) we decided to go old school and film the loose parts separately from the correct angles, then merge them together digitally to create the 1500 pictures required for the Diamond Ring Customization program. Considering we had to merge fitting combinations together some imperfections in a small portion of the images may occur as not every loose part has been shot from a perfect angle. Rest assured that this will not be the case with your ring and it will look even better than in the picture. We are currently working on creating and selecting more molds that match each other using this system. For us, this ring customizer is only the beginning. We will soon be adding customizers for bracelets, earrings and necklaces too. Do you have any ideas or suggestions for our future models? If so, you are invited to contact us.
